MELBOURNE, Fla. - The #19 ranked NSU Softball team finished competing at the USSSA Space Coast Games Sunday afternoon. The Sharks won four of their five games, finishing off the tournament with victories against Molloy University and Illinois-Springfield.

TOP 3rd - The Panthers put two runs on the board to take a two-run advantage.
BOT 5th - With two runners on base, Alexis Smith tripled to left center, bringing the tying runs across home plate.
BOT 7th - Brenna Lokeinsky hit an RBI double down the left field line to secure the 3-2 victory for the Sharks.

BOT 2nd - Aubrey Hutzler hit an RBI single to right field, putting the Sharks up early.
BOT 3rd - Madison Fine joined the action with a double to center field, batting in Lokeinsky and Alyssa Drogemuller, pushing the Sharks ahead 3-0.
BOT 5th - Hutzler earned her second RBI of the day, batting in the fourth Shark run of the game.
TOP 7th - Saginaw Valley tacked on two runs to cut their deficit to two but it wasn't enough to complete the comeback as the Sharks secured the 4-2 victory.
(GAME THREE)

BOT 2nd - Walsh tacked on two runs to take the early 2-0 lead.
BOT 4th - Hutzler kicked off the action for NSU with a triple down the right field line to bring Maliyah Lawson home for the first Shark run. Shortly after, Alisha Lanyon brought another Shark run home to tie the game at two apiece.
BOT 5th - Walsh would go on to secure the 3-2 victory with a single to center field.
(GAME FOUR)

BOT 1st - Alexis kicked it off with a double down the left line to bring Alyssa Drogemuller home to put the Sharks up 1-0. Hutzler then tacked on another run, extending NSU's lead to 2-0.
BOT 2nd - Smith earned her second RBI of the game pushing the Sharks run advantage to three runs.
BOT 3rd - NSU's run barrage continued as Hutzler batted in Fine for the Shark's fifth run of the game.
TOP 7th - Molloy put two runs on the board but it wasn't enough to overcome their deficit as NSU secured the 4-2 victory.

The Sharks were led by 2 RBIs from Aubrey Hutzler and Madison Fine, securing the 2-0 victory.

NSU will return to action Thursday, March 14th as they return to the AD Griffin Sports Complex to compete in a doubleheader against Kutztown.
